IL-25 (Interleukin-25), Mouse
Interleukin-25 (IL-25) is a cytokine that shares sequence similarity with interleukin 17. This cytokine can induce NF-kappaB activation, and stimulate the production of interleukin 8. Both this cytokine and interleukin 17B are ligands for the cytokine receptor IL17BR. IL-25 is a member of the IL-17 family of cytokines. However, unlike the other members of this family, IL-25 promotes T helper (Th) 2 responses. IL-25 also regulates the development of autoimmune inflammation mediated by IL-17–producing T cells. IL-25 and IL-17, being members of the same cytokine family, play opposing roles in the pathogenesis of organ-specific autoimmunity.

Source:
Escherichia coli
Endotoxin Test:
<0.1 EU per 1 μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Activity:
Measured by its ability to induce CXCL1 secretion in HT‑29 cells. The ED50 for this effect is <1 ng/mL.
Purity:
>98% as determined by SDS-PAGE analysis.
Form:
Lyophilized
Storage Buffer:
Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution containing 20 mM sodium citrate and 0.2 M NaCl, pH 4.5.
Reconstitution:
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized protein in sterile H2O to a concentration not less than 200 μg/mL and incubate the stock solution for at least 20 min to ensure sufficient re-dissolved.
Stability & Storage:
This product is stable after storage at:
• -20°C for 12 months in lyophilized state from date of receipt.
• -20°C or -80°C for 1 month under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Shipping Conditions:
Blue ice
